Product Description

Learning is tons of fun with the Drop and Go Dump Truck by VTech. Drop a colorful rock into the top of this cute toy dump truck, and watch it tumble into the bucket. Your little one will learn numbers as the interactive truck counts each rock.

Once the rocks are in the bucket, push or pull the truck along to see the rocks rumble inside. Then, lift the hinged bucket to unload the rocks and start again while developing motor skills. The dump truck also includes 3 colorful buttons that play melodies, phrases and teach tools and colors. Requires 2 AAA batteries (batteries included for demo purposes only; new batteries recommended for regular use). Intended for ages 6 months to 3 years.

9+ mo old grandson was captivated by it immediately (he loved the Amazon box

Received this a day earlier than expected. 9+ mo old grandson was captivated by it immediately (he loved the Amazon box, too LOL). He is too young to know how to pop the rocks into the bed of the dump truck but he puts them in the hole, turns it over and spins the wheels -- he loves wheels. If I pop the rocks in, he pulls the bed back by hand to get them out -- he doesn't know how to use the lever. He can't walk so he can't pull the truck by the string but he laughs when I pull it and crawls after it. Love VTech because of the bells and whistles of sound and lights. We are such an electronic world and I like buttons to press for learning activities.

Grandson has many VTech toys. It's great to start babies out young (many he got months ago) because they can grow into the toys and go back to them. He has the laptop, remote control, sit to stand (all time favortie - love love love this one), Iphone, etc. Yes, the "rocks" have gone under the couch a few times but that's OK - I fish them out. Today I put some of his other little toys in the back of the dump truck with the rocks. The Vroom Vroom sound is fun and I do that, too. I searched Amazon for a truck and decided on this one and am very happy with it. It is sturdy and something he will play with for a long time

Perfect for a First Birthday!!

Edited: I took off two stars because after calling VTech, I'm not able to order replacement balls for this truck. We have so many little plastic balls in our house, some by Vtech, some by FP, some by PlaySkool... but all of those are too big. So now we are down to one ball, and I can't order more, even after talking to Customer Service at Vtech. I was informed that they are not making replacement balls available. I'm bummed. They should make replacements, since these little balls are so easy to lose, yet so essential to this toy.

My son received this as a gift from his grandparents for his first birthday. One the day of his birthday, he ignored all other toys and just played with this one the entire time- pushing the balls in the hole over and over again! Now, one month later, it's still his favorite toy and can hold his attention for over 20 minutes at a time! I'm amazed! No other toy holds his attention like this little truck does! He loves the balls, the buttons, the music- everything about it! He isn't walking yet, but I'm sure once he starts he will also love pulling it around!

This little truck is totally worth purchasing!! We love it and will be buying more for our gift closet!

My 1 year old son JUST LOOOVES this dump truck. (And so does his big sister who's 4.) It's so fun to watch him drag it around, play with it, giggle when it lights up. It just makes me smile to see him having fun (and also subconsciously learning cause and effect.
This is a great buy to entertain little ones for a good hour or so. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep little ones happy.

My toddler loves this truck...

My 14 month son loves this truck. Yes, it's mildly annoying, but so are all of his other talking toys. At least this one encourages the development of some motor skills by "putting the rocks in the hole" on the top of the truck. When the child presses down on the rock, it shoots through to the back of the truck. My son figured it out pretty quick, and he continues to be amused by this. Overall, a good purchase.
